Aunt Chris

Wow! Way cool that Aunt Chris posted, welcome, and of course you are immediate family. I think mom's sister counts as immediate!
Sorry I made a mess with the pictures. First try. Please look past all the stuff I posted today and see Natasha's wonderful post!

I'm not immediate fam..but I've got to try too

All right, if this works, you have to show me how to do my blogspot. I have one but don't know how to post. Kerina...Wow, so much fun to be a grandma. Natasha and Jono..how exciting. Hey Bonnie Since this is your blog, why don't you post on it. I know you are really busy, but anyway I love you so much and am so thankful that you are doing so well. Your sis, Criss

Future Grandma

Okay, I have been sitting here readying all the posts around and since mom's surgery. I feel so guilty, I feel like as one of the older siblings, and one of the earliest computer geeks in the family, it shouldn't have taken me so long to catch the spirit of this whole blog thing. (it seems maybe computer geek #1 hasn't caught it either)
By the way, this isn't a reference to the biggest computer geek, (you are all big geeks!) simply the oldest in terms of geekhood.
All of your posts are beautiful. The photos and stories are awesome! I honestly think this is the first time I have been kind of jealous of all of you being so physically close to each other in Utah. It seems nice.
So, you all know by now I am going to be a grandma!! Heck with the fact that Natasha and Jono will be parents, I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMA!!!! I cried like a baby when she told me. I am so excited. When I wasn't allowed to tell anyone yet, I called Natasha back and said, "I just want to tell my mom". (In my most whiny begging voice) She gave me permission, thanks Nat! I bawled again. What a fun thing to share with my mom and to talk about how much she loves being a grandma.
I can't wait!!
And if you think I am excited, you should hear Jacey and Braelyn's enthusiasm about being aunts. Wow, amazing to watch my kids all getting so grown up. I will post some pictures of Jacey's graduation. I should have a month ago, but of course I haven't logged in here for awhile. Also we have been gone nearly every weekend with Braelyn who is playing on a traveling all-star fastpitch team. I will post a few of those. Three weekends ago she played in Twin Falls and Natasha, Jono, Josh and Whitney all came down to watch as well. It was soooo fun having them all there and supporting their baby sister. It really meant a lot to her. (I did feel sorry for the umpires when they made a call that was not in Braelyn's favor!) I am assistant coaching the team, so I was in the dugout, but we certainly had a lot of loud voices coming from the bleachers.

Anyway, photos to follow in a little while. I love you all so much!! I am sorry that mom had to have surgery for us to all get together, but it was such a neat weekend!

Our Big News

Some of you might already know this but we are having a BABY!! We are pretty excited. I am about 10 weeks along. Our due date is January 27th. We had our first doctors appointment and they did an ultrasound (which I will post if I can figure out how) and we got to see the heartbeat. It was so fun! I have been pretty sick for the past four or five weeks which has been kind of hard. I am pretty whimpy when I get sick so that doesn't really help much. If any of you have any advice for dealing with morning sickness please share. Anyway, I hope this post turns out okay since it is my first one ever. I guess we will see.

We are loving the warm weather, but not getting out enough in it.  I hope everyone is doing well.
Also, GIRLS!!!!! St George TRIP?  Can we plan a weekend to go together this summer????  Mom and I are in for most anytime.  When is good for you?

Happy Father's Day Dad!

You are one a million dad. I just wanted to wish you a Happy Father's Day! I wouldn't change anything about having you as our dad. I love you with all my heart. In fact, having you as my dad has made me raise the bar a lot for my husband. I have to realize sometimes, he's just not you. Thanks for all you do.

Grand Children

I wish I was more of a camera buff. I always forget to have my camera with me when I want it and even when I do remember to take it, I am not sure how to use it.
Yesterday Kori picked me up to take me for a ride to Tyson and Chelsey's new apartment. They live just a few miles from us now. Beau and Brady were in the car when Kori picked me up and they were so adorable. I am so grateful to Kori because those boys love me simply because Kori has told them enough to get them excited about Grandma Bonnie. When I got in the car, Beau and Brady were so excited to tell me what they were doing. They were making a house out of boxes and wanted me to help them and to get in their new house. When we arrived at Tyson and Chelsey's, the great grand kids all talked at once trying to show me everything. My heart was filled to capacity with love to be around them. Kori, Thank you for being who you are. You are amazing and I had the best afternoon. It felt so good to be outside and in the fresh air. It is easy to get all couped up and in the middle of a pity party. Thanks for rescuing me Kori.
This morning, Tyson called and said, Grandma, I didn't get to see you yesterday. Can I come over? What an amazing grandson. He brought McKade and Tra with him and we got hugs and kisses. What else matters? Tyson, you brightened our day and we are grateful for your love and support.
Mom called today and I unloaded about all my pain etc. She told me about Tylenol Extra Strength Gels and OH MY! The Tylenol has really helped me. I love you Mom and Dad.
Can you believe this weather? It has been so cold that I sleep with the hot pad on my feet. We even had our fireplace on yesterday.
Don't forget it is Jenifer's birthday on Wednesday, Karma's on Saturday and Brandt's on the 16th. Also Aunt Criss is celebrating a birthday on the 24th. Criss is such a sweet sister. I would love it if you all remembered her and told her happy birthday also. Love you all.

Hi Family!!!!

So..... Thanks alot Mom!!! ... hehe (You know I'm kidding!)

Now I'm getting all these emails and everyone asking what my "Big" news is.. lol

So......... here it is for you all... :o)

First of all, we LOVE Virginia.. It is an amazing state. It is more georgeous than any other state I've seen. And there is SOO much to see and do. It is truly an amazing place to live..
HOWEVER.. it is not a place we want to live forever.

I am so thankful that the wind's have blown us where we are at the moment.. It's such an amazing experience to be here and get to see the country. My business is booming here and doing so well.. I knew it would do well here but, not as fast as it's going so.. I'm completley excited about things and how great things are working for us..

Based upon that.. the goals I had in moving here are going to be met and when Breck graduates from high school next year we've decided to let our lives shift again.. and move us in another direction... (back home) :o)

BUT.... what I mean by back "home" is not back to Utah. While Utah is an AMAZING place to live we are looking for some middle ground between my family and Brandt's. A place not quite as busy as Salt Lake and we've decided on Twin Falls. CrAzY hUh???

So... back home being where I grew up.. Our plans are to live somewhere on the outskirts.. relax, retire and enjoy life... Near family.. :o)

Love and Miss you all..
Kone Brandt and Kids.

Doing better each and every day

Friday was a very fun day. Karma copied some movies for us and brought them over. Kami Su and kids (except for Sky) were here. It is the most fun day of my life to have my family over. Saturday, Kori came by again. That is her 2ND trip to see us. She is so awesome. Konae calls every day. They (Hausers) gave me some good news. I'll let her tell the rest of you when she talks to you. Kerina made me belly laugh when she responded to am email about sending I love you to 10 friends. She is pretty funny.
I have still been getting the shakes at night. I think it is nerves. I get so tense during the day and I have been trying to avoid as many pain pills as possible. Then when evening arrives, I just can't stop the tenseness in my shoulders and neck and I start shaking from the inside out. The only way to stop it is to get wrapped up like a mummy with the heat pad (thank you Konae) and take a pain pill. I called the nurse and as long as I don't spike a fever,(her words) I am okay.
It has been and still is a hard decision to retire. I want to retire more than anything but not sure we will have enough money to make it. I just have to trust. We have sure had a good ride. I love you all for your input and your support. OF course you know I will never completely retire.

Tomorrow Skylee has surgery. She is having her tonsils and adenoids out. I know it is a controversial operation these days but Sky has swollen glands much if not all of the time. I am worried about her and my prayers are for her speedy recovery. I am thinking if they could get Billy and Dr. Mask and let him pray for her, she will be just fine.
Today is a beautiful day. I think we will go out for a walk later. I have been bad about walking (except around the house) because my day gets filled too fast and not enough time to walk.
I have almost finished the book, "Master", I was reading it a couple of weeks before surgery. It is such an awesome book. Let's you see the Savior's life in a different but sacred way. I am looking forward to reading a few other books given to me . I have 3 more weeks to recover and should be able to get back to work. Love you all. Mom
